📅 Employment Type: Full-Time & Contract
💰 Full-Time Salary: CAD $110,000/year
💼 Contract Rate: $55-65/hour (C2C)
What We Need From You
Experience
10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
Strong experience designing, developing, and supporting microservices-based architectures.
Proven experience supporting highly available, scalable, and reliable production environments.
Cloud & Infrastructure
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS, Aurora PostgreSQL, MSK, S3, SQS, and SNS.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, scalability, reliability, and production support.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
DevOps & Automation
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and DevOps best practices.
Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation and operational tasks.
Experience implementing infrastructure automation and deployment pipelines.
Distributed Systems & Event Streaming
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
Experience troubleshooting and optimizing distributed systems for performance and reliability.
Monitoring & Observability
Experience with application profiling, observability, monitoring, logging, and telemetry tools.
Strong experience diagnosing production issues and improving system performance.
