Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Security & Administration Specialist to manage and enhance the security, administration, and governance of our Snowflake environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake security, user access management, performance optimization, and cloud security best practices, ensuring secure and efficient data platform operations.

Key Responsibilities

Implement, maintain, and enforce Snowflake security policies, standards, and procedures.
Create, manage, and administer Snowflake users, roles, and access controls.
Define and manage data access permissions following least-privilege and governance principles.
Monitor and audit Snowflake environments to ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
Perform Snowflake administration activities, including environment monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and security teams to support secure data access and platform operations.
Identify and resolve security, access, and performance-related issues within Snowflake.
Support cloud security initiatives and ensure adherence to organizational security standards.
Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Security and Administration.
Deep understanding of role-based access control (RBAC), user management, auditing, and security frameworks within Snowflake.
Experience with Snowflake performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices.
Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications

Snowflake Security and Administration Certification.
Experience with data governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
Exposure to enterprise data security and cloud-native data platforms.
Experience Required: 5+ years in Data Platform Administration with strong Snowflake Security expertise.
