Are you an experienced Senior Test Lead with a deep background in healthcare interoperability, complex system modernization, and automated quality engineering? We are looking for a high-impact QA leader to drive quality strategy, execution, and release readiness for a critical digital service initiative!

📍 Location: Hybrid (Greater Toronto Area, ON – Onsite as needed)
⏳ Duration: 8-Month Initial Contract
💰 Rate Range: $65.00 – $75.00 / hr CAD
🏛️ Requirement: Public Sector / Healthcare IT experience strongly preferred

🔑 Key Responsibilities & Role Focus:
QA Leadership & Strategy: Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, traceability matrices, release readiness recommendations, and defect/automation metrics.
Full-Stack & API Testing: Direct hands-on functional and performance testing for React frontends, Java / Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and relational databases.
Automation Engineering: Hands-on test automation development using Playwright (UI regression, test scripting, debugging, and continuous CI/CD pipeline integration).
API Validation: Deep testing execution using Postman and vREST (collections, environment setups, automated assertions, and API defect analysis).
Healthcare Interoperability: Validate complex workflows leveraging HL7v2, FHIR APIs, FHIR Subscriptions, SMART on FHIR, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, and Mirth Integration Engine.

🎯 Must-Have Qualifications:
10+ years in Senior Quality Assurance / Test Lead roles overseeing end-to-end testing in large-scale enterprise environments.
Hands-on proficiency in Playwright, Postman, vREST, and Java/React stack testing.
Proven experience testing HL7, FHIR, SMART on FHIR, and healthcare integration hubs (e.g., Mirth).
Experience within Canadian Public Sector or Healthcare domains.
Local to the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) for hybrid work requirements.
