Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Junior QA Test Analyst – UAT (Cheque Processing). The successful candidate will participate in Quality Assurance activities within the Concorde Program, a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and productivity across multiple business lines and technology groups. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong analytical background to contribute to high-impact project phases such as SIT, UAT, and E2E testing.

Pay rate range (CAD): $39.13/hr – $46.96/hr

Responsibilities

Review requirements to develop detailed test scenarios and test cases for UAT, E2E testing phases
Execute functional, integration, and regression testing activities
Log, track, and retest defects identified during testing
Collaborate with business and technical teams to validate expected outcomes
Provide timely testing status updates and support release activities
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth end-to-end testing processes
Identify potential risks and defects early through thorough analysis
Recommend improvements to testing processes, tools, and automation practices
Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding testing progress, defects, and risks
Desired Skill-Set

Minimum of 3 years of QA experience supporting technology projects
Strong knowledge of SDLC, QA methodologies, and testing best practices
Proficiency with functional, integration, and regression testing procedures
Hands-on experience with defect management tools such as HP ALM and Jira
Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall environments
Knowledge of test automation and continuous improvement approaches
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Nice to Have

Knowledge of Cheque Processing (e.g., Day 1, Day 2, RDC)
Retail banking experience
Familiarity with test automation tools and AI-based testing solutions
