I’m hiring for a Senior IT Project / Program Manager contract role in Toronto for an IFRS 17 Process Optimization initiative.

📌 Role Snapshot:
📍 Toronto – Hybrid
⏳ 6-month contract with Possibility of extension and conversion to FTE
🏦 Large financial services environment
💰 Pay Rate : $95-100/hr. Incop+ HST

This is not a typical PM role where you are only tracking timelines.
This role needs someone who understands how finance, accounting, data handoffs, reporting processes, regulatory standards, and technology delivery all connect inside a large banking environment.

✨ What makes this role interesting?
You’ll be helping improve the end-to-end financial reporting process for Global Insurance, specifically around the complexities created by IFRS 17 accounting standards.
That means you’ll be working closely with teams across:

✅ Business Stakeholders
✅ Vendors
✅ Delivery Teams

👀 Who I want to speak with:
A senior IT Project / Program Manager who brings:
✅ 10+ years of IT Project / Program Management experience
✅ Strong knowledge of IFRS 17
✅ Understanding of accounting principles / financial reporting
✅ Experience working in a large financial institution
✅ Strong Agile / Waterfall delivery experience
✅ Hands-on MS Project, Excel, Visio experience
✅ Strong stakeholder, vendor, and executive communication skills
⭐ Bonus if you have:
🌟 PMP certification
🌟 Regulatory or risk remediation experience
🌟 Corporate Finance project exposure
🌟 Recent Top 5 Canadian Bank experience
