Senior Business Analyst (Lean / Process Transformation)

Hiring: Senior Business Analyst (Lean / Process Transformation) – EXISITING SECRET CLEARANCE AND CONTROLLED GOODS REQUIRED ❗

I’m currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale, long-term defence program focused on operational excellence and process maturity. This role is hybrid (3 days/week) and located in either Ottawa or Halifax!

Minimum Requirements:
– University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline
-12+ years of experience documenting business processes and system requirements
– Experience in business or enterprise architecture
– Experience developing business strategies
– Experience in a Navy or Aviation maintenance environment
– Practical experience in design thinking and facilitating design workshops
– Minimum 5 years of experience (within the last 10 years) leading business analysis activities or workshops on large-scale projects
– Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with a track record of successful outcomes
– Strong ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization

What you’ll be doing:
Leading process definition and continuous improvement initiatives
Applying LEAN methodologies (including Value Stream Mapping)
Facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities
Translating business needs into clear requirements and value propositions
Supporting change initiatives, including impact analysis and business case development
Driving innovation and helping mature enterprise-level processes
