Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Release Train Engineer. This position is pivotal in facilitating high-stakes credit card projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and delivering strategic value in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will manage and optimize Agile Release Trains, ensuring seamless delivery of multiple features aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Facilitate Agile Release Train processes, including PI Planning, System Demos, and Pre- and Post-PI meetings
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure dependencies, architecture, and delivery order are managed effectively
Escalate impediments, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies
Manage and optimize flow of value through ARTs using various tools like Kanban
Lead, coach, and train a small team of Agile professionals
Communicate status, risks, issues, and financials to senior leadership
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the enterprise
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines
Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities and expectations
Desired Skill-Set
10+ years of experience delivering high-complexity credit card features within Agile frameworks in cross-functional teams
5+ years of direct experience with data conversions, preferably in a credit card environment
5+ years of experience presenting status updates, risks, issues, mitigations, and financials to senior leaders
Strong financial management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to mitigate risks, manage ambiguity, and solve problems creatively
Confident storytelling abilities tailored for diverse stakeholders
Ability to lead through change and pressure effectively
Nice to Have
Certified SAFE Release Train Engineer (RTE), SAFE Program Consultant (SPC), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP, or other Agile certifications
Prior experience within the banking or financial services sector, particularly with credit card products
