Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Accountant – Securities/Wealth Operations. This position offers operational support in a fast-paced environment, focusing on high-risk money transfers, securities processing, and documentation review within a compliance-heavy setting. The role provides an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative team, with potential for extension and conversion.

Pay rate range (CAD): $31.09/hr – $37.30/hr

Responsibilities

Manage daily money movements, ensuring accurate processing of transfers
Review documentation thoroughly before executing transfers
Handle investment and securities transfers accurately
Run macros on Excel spreadsheets to facilitate transfer processing
Use multiple software platforms for transaction management
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for transaction approvals
Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
Adhere to SLA metrics and productivity targets
Participate in a 4-week training period for onboarding and system familiarization
Desired Skill-Set

2-4 years of banking or financial services experience, ideally in wealth operations
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macros
Experience with securities or wealth transfer operations
Knowledge of high-risk transfer activities and documentation review
Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and navigate multiple systems
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
Nice to Have

Prior experience with Banking or similar financial institutions
