Financial Analyst – AP & AR | Contract | Hybrid – Toronto, ON

Our client, a large well-established organization, is looking to add a Financial Analyst – Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable to their finance team on a contract basis.

This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, requiring candidates to work in office 4 days per week.
In this role, you will support day-to-day financial operations across AP and AR, including invoice processing, payments, billing, collections, cash application, reconciliations, reporting, and financial analysis. You will also help troubleshoot issues, support process improvements, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficiency across financial processes.
Must-Have Experience:

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience supporting AP and/or AR processes
Strong understanding of invoicing, payments, collections, reconciliations, and financial operations
ERP experience, ideally SAP S/4HANA or similar systems
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:

Professional accounting designation or working towards one
Experience with process improvements, automation, testing, or system enhancements
Previous experience in a large, structured organization
