Hiring: Senior Software Developer (Java) | Location: Toronto, ON / Vancouver, BC – Hybrid

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Greenfield Development, System Design, AWS, Distributed Systems, and AI/ML integration.

Must-Have Skills
Java, Spring Boot & Microservices
10+ years of software development experience
Strong AWS & Cloud-Native Development experience
Greenfield / 0-to-1 Product Development
Strong System Design & Distributed Systems knowledge
Oracle or similar relational databases
Python, Databricks & AI/ML integration
JavaScript / TypeScript
GitHub Copilot / AI-assisted development workflows

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable Java-based applications from the ground up
Build and enhance cloud-native distributed systems on AWS
Lead system design and architecture decisions for greenfield initiatives
Integrate Java applications with AI/ML systems and modern data platforms
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver scalable solutions
Apply AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices

Nice to Have
CDN / Edge Workers experience
OAuth 2.0, JWT/JWS, PKI or security experience
Experience with Observability at Scale
Multi-party integration or platform services experience
