🚀 WE ARE HIRING: UX Designer (Intermediate Contract)

Are you a user-centered product designer passionate about building seamless, accessible, and intuitive digital experiences? We are looking for an Intermediate UX Designer for an 8-month contract role based in Toronto, Ontario!
In this role, you will work within a collaborative, cross-functional team to research, prototype, and deliver impactful digital services.

💰 Pay Rate: $60.00 – $70.00 / hour (DOE)

What You’ll Do
User-Centered Design: Apply mobile-first and responsive design best practices across complex web and mobile platforms.
Rapid Prototyping: Build, test, and iterate low-to-high fidelity wireframes and user flows using Figma.
Agile Integration: Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and service leads in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Lead workshops, present design iterations, and advocate for user research insights to stakeholders.
Design Systems: Utilize established design systems, service design frameworks, and component libraries to ensure cross-product consistency.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of professional experience in UX/Product Design on complex, multi-stakeholder products.
Mandatory Tooling: Strong mastery of Figma (and familiarity with tools like Sketch, InVision, Axure, Creative Cloud, or Zeplin).
Strong understanding of Service Design Frameworks and design system standards.
Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have: Prior public sector / government experience or familiarity with the DABL framework (Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live).
Basic understanding of front-end capabilities (HTML5, CSS3, JS/React/Angular) or Azure DevOps is a plus!
