Intermediate Business Analyst

We are looking for an Intermediate Business Analyst to join our team in Scarborough. This hybrid position requires three days on-site each week.

Candidate Requirements/Must-Have Skills:
– 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within enterprise IT environments.
– Strong experience in gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
– Hands-on experience creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, process flows, and use cases.
– Proven ability to work closely with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and Product Owners to translate business needs into technical solutions.
– Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and user story creation.

Nice to have:
– Experience working on SWIFT payments, wire payments, or cross-border payments.
– Experience with credit card payments, payment processing, or merchant acquiring platforms.
– Exposure to AI/Generative AI initiatives, including AI-powered business solutions, automation, or AI-assisted requirements gathering.
– Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
