Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr.Business Consultant/Capital Markets/T+1 Initiative. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support large-scale analytics and reporting initiatives within the Capital Markets Trade Servicing and Product Control groups, focusing on the UK T+1 initiative. The successful candidate will engage with stakeholders, develop Power BI dashboards, and contribute to continuous process improvements, delivering impactful solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for the UK T+1 initiative.
Facilitate discussions to define business logic, data definitions, and key success metrics.
Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and process documentation.
Collaborate with technology teams to design, test, and implement data views, datasets, and reporting solutions.
Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation to maintain report accuracy.
Design and enhance Power BI dashboards to support governance, tracking, and operational monitoring.
Support project lifecycle activities including planning, testing, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
Develop innovative reporting solutions to improve analytics, automation, and operational efficiency.
Promote adoption of enterprise reporting tools and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Contribute to strategic initiatives and core projects within the analytics and reporting team.
Desired Skill-Set

University degree in Business, Commerce, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related discipline.
3–7 years of experience in business analysis, analytics, reporting, consulting, or project delivery.
Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Excel.
Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and translating business needs into reports.
Strong data analysis, validation, and dashboard creation skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Knowledge of reporting, analytics, and business intelligence concepts.
Experience supporting large transformation or regulatory projects is an asset.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Project coordination and execution experience.
Nice to Have

Capital Markets, Operations, Trade Servicing, Settlement, or T+1 domain knowledge.
