Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Business Analyst (Intake & Demand Management). This position involves supporting a major data transformation initiative while owning the organization’s project intake and demand management processes. The role requires working closely with stakeholders, managing governance, optimizing workflows, and contributing to future portfolio management capabilities within the IT PMO.

Pay rate range (CAD): $50.00/hr – $55.00/hr

Responsibilities

Manage and facilitate the IT project intake and demand management process
Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements
Develop BRDs, business cases, use cases, process flows, and governance artifacts
Assess incoming opportunities and support prioritization, budgeting, and approval activities
Coordinate project security assessments with technical teams
Act as liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders unfamiliar with dedicated Business Analysts
Support governance reporting, intake metrics, backlog management, and process improvements
Collaborate with vendors and technology partners on solution assessments and project delivery
Contribute to QA activities including traceability, test cases, scripts, audits, and UAT coordination
Run intake meetings and manage incoming project requests
Support testing and validation activities as needed
Proactively identify opportunities to improve governance and intake processes
Desired Skill-Set

Strong requirements gathering and elicitation experience
Proficient in creating BRDs, business cases, use cases, process diagrams, and governance artifacts
Experience managing intake, demand, and project governance processes
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
Skilled in facilitating discussion between business and technology teams
Ability to operate independently in evolving, less-structured environments
Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills
Experience working within traditional Waterfall delivery environments
Nice to Have

Experience supporting data transformation initiatives involving ERP, CRM, or forecasting platforms
Familiarity with tools like Excel, Power Apps, Yardi, Argus, and Zoho
Background supporting PMO functions, governance programs, or enterprise project intake processes
Knowledge of security assessment procedures and project validation processes
