📍 Location: Downtown Toronto, ON
🏢 Work Model: Hybrid — 3 days onsite per week
⏳ Contract: 12 months
💰 Rate: $35/hr T4 or $42/hr Incorporated

Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for a Senior Collateral Operations Analyst to join their Collateral Management team on a 12-month contract.
This is a hands-on backfill role supporting daily collateral operations, margining, reconciliations, issue resolution, and review support across derivatives and repo products.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

✅ Perform daily collateral management activities, including margin calls and collateral movements
✅ Support initial margin and variation margin processes
✅ Complete portfolio reconciliations and investigate breaks or discrepancies
✅ Troubleshoot margin, trade, and reconciliation issues
✅ Work with internal teams, external counterparties, and business stakeholders
✅ Support reviews, reporting, and ad hoc collateral inquiries
✅ Maintain strong operational controls in a fast-paced environment

🎯 Must-Have Qualifications

✔️ 3+ years of experience in collateral management, margin operations, derivatives operations, repo operations, trade support, or capital markets operations
✔️ Strong knowledge of derivatives and repo products
✔️ Understanding of initial margin, variation margin, margin calls, collateral movements, and exposure management
✔️ Experience with portfolio reconciliations, break resolution, and issue troubleshooting
✔️ Strong communication and presentation skills
✔️ Ability to work independently and support stakeholder questions professionally
✔️ Tech-savvy mindset with comfort using systems, reports, and process improvement tools

⭐ Nice to Have

➕ Experience with AcadiaSoft, Calypso, Murex, TriOptima, TriResolve, CloudMargin, Colline, MarkitWire, DTCC, CDS, SWIFT, Bloomberg, or similar platforms
➕ Advanced Excel, SQL, reporting, or automation experience
➕ Experience supporting reviews, controls, reconciliations, or operational oversight
