Are you an experienced UNIX professional with solid Azure knowledge and a passion for systems stability and security?
We’re hiring an Intermediate UNIX Midrange Support Analyst to join a long-term project supporting a major Canadian enterprise.
This role is primarily remote, with periodic onsite visits to Regina, SK (with a minimum of 4 weeks’ advance notice).
✅ What You’ll Do:
Day-to-day administration and support of UNIX environments (Red Hat, SuSe, AIX)
Set up and maintain servers and Azure-based systems
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and application/server maintenance
Document technical processes and create user guides
Manage system security, including permissions and compliance
Participate in on-call rotation for incident and escalation support
🎯 Key Qualifications:
3–5 years’ experience in Red Hat, SuSe, and AIX administration
Experience with IBM/NetApp storage and NetBackup
Strong Azure system administration skills (not just cloud architecture)
Familiarity with Microsoft Server ecosystems
Proficiency in technical documentation and user training
Excellent troubleshooting and support capabilities
⭐ Nice to Have:
Professional certifications related to UNIX, Azure, or systems administration
2–4 years of formal technical education (college or university)
