Senior Project Manager – Banking

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Project Manager – Banking who will take end-to-end ownership of a critical online banking program for Business (OLBB), driving delivery through a busy, sprint-based environment and coordinating across multiple technology teams.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery of assigned IT projects with clear scope, outcomes, and timelines
Drive project execution using an Agile/Waterfall hybrid delivery approach
Lead cross-functional collaboration with multiple technology teams delivering components of the overall program
Plan, coordinate, and manage monthly deliverables in a fast-paced implementation schedule
Proactively surface risks, remove blockers, and anticipate escalations before they impact outcomes
Maintain project rigor across time, cost, and quality commitments
Oversee governance controls and ensure deliverables meet performance, quality, and compliance expectations
Partner with communications stakeholders to support change and communications planning
Manage user groups, internal teams, and external consultants, vendors, and contractors
Desired Skill-Set

8+ years of experience in IT project management
Proven ability to run technology project delivery (not a scrum master) with strong end-to-end accountability
Experience in Agile environments (with comfort working in an Agile/Waterfall hybrid model)
Strong cross-functional problem-solving mindset and quick decision-making under pressure
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple moving parts across several technology teams
Excellent communication skills, including understanding nuance and driving alignment
Track record of managing project scope while meeting time, cost, and quality parameters
Experience overseeing governance, deliverable quality, and compliance expectations
PMP designation (Project Management Institute)
