JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary.
We are seeking an experienced SAP GTS Consultant to join our team of SAP professionals. This role is essential for supporting clients in managing and optimizing their global trade and compliance operations through SAP Global Trade Services (GTS). The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of expertise in SAP GTS, with a strong understanding of global customs processes, compliance management, and integration with SAP ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement SAP GTS solutions for customs management, compliance management, and risk management.
• Configure SAP GTS modules based on business requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams to ensure seamless integration with SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
• Analyze international trade regulations and translate them into system requirements.
• Support end-to-end project lifecycles including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and HyperCard.
• Provide expert advice on import/export controls, embargo management, and product classification.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues in SAP GTS processes.
• Deliver user training and create functional documentation.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) – Advanced level with 8 to 10 years of experience in SAP GTS implementation and configuration across all key modules (compliance management, customs management, and risk management).
Skills:
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration – Intermediate proficiency in integrating GTS with S/4HANA or ECC.
• Knowledge of SAP SD/MM modules – Basic understanding of how Sales & Distribution and Materials Management interact with GTS.
• Understanding of international trade regulations – Working knowledge of export/import compliance, trade preference agreements, and embargo checks.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori – Basic knowledge of Fiori apps related to GTS dashboards and reporting.
• Experience with SAP GRC – Helpful in managing governance and compliance alignment across SAP landscapes.
