Must-Have Skills:
✔️ Experience leading or supporting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for digital platforms, websites, online services, or user account systems.
✔️ Strong knowledge of privacy laws, privacy principles, and Privacy by Design requirements.
✔️ Ability to review website features, user journeys, account setup flows, and identify where personal information is collected, used, stored, displayed, or shared.
✔️ Experience drafting plain-language privacy notices, consent wording, and user-facing privacy communications.
✔️ Ability to assess privacy risks related to youth users, teacher-managed accounts, student self-registration, public display names, and access codes.
✔️ Experience translating legal and policy requirements into practical compliance and implementation guidance.
✔️ Strong understanding of applicable provincial, municipal, federal, and private-sector privacy legislation and Fair Information Practices.
