Junior Financial Specialist (Onsite – Ottawa, ON)
Location: Onsite in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Employment Type: Contract
Security Requirement: Valid Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance (must have 5+ years of permanent residency or Canadian citizenship)

Noramtec is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Financial Specialist to join our team onsite in Ottawa. The successful candidate will support a range of financial management tasks within the Defense Resource Management Information System (DRMIS). This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to grow their expertise in financial planning and federal systems.

Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Financial Specialist, your role will include, but not be limited to:
·        Task 1: Planning and coordinating financial management activities in DRMIS, including developing estimates and business requirements.
·        Task 2: Creating and maintaining business plans aligned with organizational objectives.
·        Task 3: Identifying and forecasting resource requirements, including acquisition, operations, maintenance, recurring, and non-recurring costs.
·        Task 4: Assisting in cost development for services, goods, professional services, and overhead.
·        Task 5: Planning and reporting on fund utilization to ensure accountability and strategic alignment.

Required DRMIS Roles Experience
Applicants must have hands-on experience with the following DRMIS roles:
·        UU05: Maintain Accounts Payable
·        UU06: Maintain Earmarked Funds
·        UU38: DRMIS Display
·        UU39: System Adjustments (SA)
·        UU53: Delegation of Authority – Create

✅ Qualifications
·        Must hold a valid Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance
·        Minimum 5+ years of Canadian permanent residency or citizenship (mandatory for clearance)
·        Strong knowledge of federal financial processes and DRMIS functionality
·        Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently
