Project Cost Controller

Procom is currently looking for a Project Cost Controller for our client in the private sector

THIS CONTRACT HAS A TBD START DATE AND GOES FOR 16 MONTHS LATER (GREAT CHANCE OF EXTENSION)
LOCATION: HYBRID — 3 DAYS OFFICE / 2 DAYS REMOTE IN OTTAWA
SCHEDULE / HOURS: 40 HOURS/WEEK; CORE HOURS MONDAY–FRIDAY, 9–3
ENGAGEMENT TYPE: CONTRACT WITH POTENTIAL TO MOVE TO PERM
LANGUAGE: ENGLISH
CLEARANCE: SECRET (MUST HOLD BEFORE SUBMISSION)

Experience:

🔥 Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Arts (major in Accounting), and/or similar education and equivalent experience
🔥1-3 years of experience in large multi-national or national organization, in the Defense & Security sector or previous experience in project cost controlling
🔥Experience working on projects and knowledge of basic project management and the project lifecycle.
🔥Knowledge and previous experience working with different business systems and tools (i.e. SAP, Primavera and Excel)

Special Position Requirements

🔥Schedule: 40 hours per week. Hybrid position – a mix of working from home.
🔥Travel: Occasional domestic.
