Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an IT Operations/PMO Manager (CIO Office Support). This position requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between Finance, IT, and executive stakeholders, supporting portfolio oversight, governance, and reporting activities to ensure seamless operations within a dynamic environment.
Pay rate range (CAD): $61.59/hr – $73.91/hr
Responsibilities
Support IT capacity planning and resource tracking to optimize team efficiency
Prepare executive-level PowerPoint presentations and CIO updates with clear, impactful messaging
Consolidate project updates into concise, digestible bullet-point summaries for executive review
Maintain portfolio visibility through effective governance, dashboards, and reporting standards
Manage and track Statements of Work (SOW) approvals and related governance workflows
Collaborate with Finance on CapEx and OpEx tracking, budgeting, and reporting
Drive adoption of portfolio management tools such as Hive or similar platforms
Coach teams on standardized PM processes and tool usage to enhance operational consistency
Partner with Change Management teams to support rollout of new features and process improvements
Maintain SharePoint structures and documentation standards to ensure consistent information management
Desired Skill-Set
5 to 7 years of experience in PMO, IT Operations, or Portfolio Management
Proven expertise in executive reporting and stakeholder communication
Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (data analysis, reporting, summaries)
Strong understanding of financial concepts including CapEx, OpEx, and budgeting
Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management environments
Familiarity with PM tools, with preference for Hive or similar platforms
Background in operations-heavy PMO or CIO office environments
Excellent documentation and organizational skills
Ability to present complex information in a clear, executive-friendly manner
Experience with SharePoint governance and documentation standards
Exposure to finance-IT hybrid environments and change management initiatives
Nice to Have
Certification or training in Portfolio Management or PMO best practices
Experience with tool adoption and process rollout in large organizations
Knowledge of financial systems integration with IT operations
Familiarity with hybrid project methodologies and large-scale transformation initiatives
