Are you passionate about leveraging technology to transform health care systems? We’re looking for an experienced Senior IT Enterprise Architect to help lead digital health initiatives and design enterprise-wide IT solutions that support Alberta’s evolving health system.
In this hybrid role based in Edmonton, you’ll work closely with business leaders, technology teams, and external partners to develop architectural strategies that enable high-quality, efficient, and integrated health services.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of enterprise architecture strategies for health information systems.
Guide business and technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with health system goals and client strategies.
Provide technical leadership in designing IT services, evaluating existing systems, and identifying areas for improvement.
Support integration efforts across applications, processes, and technologies in partnership with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Develop future-state architecture documentation, roadmaps, and governance frameworks to drive digital health transformation.
Stay current with healthcare and IT industry trends to support innovation and strategic planning.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement, change management, and performance tracking for successful program delivery.

Strategic Architecture Initiatives:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT Architecture roadmap, operational plan, and change management strategy to support enterprise health IT services.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Experience:
5+ years documenting application architectures in an enterprise IT environment.
5+ years planning, designing, implementing, and supporting platform solutions.
5+ years leading complex, multi-stakeholder, multi-technology projects.
5+ years working in IT within the healthcare industry.
2+ years providing strategic, enterprise-level technology advice and leadership.
