Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Intermediate BSA – API Integrations. This position involves supporting a key project in a dynamic environment, with a strong emphasis on requirements elicitation, API documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

Pay rate range (CAD): $66.00/hr – $72.00/hr

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements for API-related projects
Facilitate requirements workshops and discussions to clarify project goals and functionalities
Write clear, comprehensive API documentation, including user stories and sequence diagrams
Engage with technical teams to ensure accurate and effective documentation of technical solutions
Assist in development and review of user stories, ensuring completeness and clarity
Support Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews
Provide deep analytical insights that add value beyond automated tools
Communicate effectively with product owners, BAs, and business partners to ensure alignment
Contribute to project deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards and client expectations
Desired Skill-Set

5-7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
Strong expertise in requirements elicitation and facilitation
Proven experience in API documentation and related technical writing
Ability to create and interpret sequence diagrams
Background in core banking systems (highly preferred)
Hands-on experience working in Agile environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to document technical solutions clearly and accurately
Familiarity with accessibility standards is a plus
Nice to Have

Experience with core banking applications or financial systems
Exposure to SSO and authentication protocols
Knowledge of API security best practices
Familiarity with automation tools related to documentation processes
Accessibility experience to support inclusive design
