Data Center IT Operations Administrator (2 Openings)
📍 Barrie, ON (1) | Scarborough, ON (1) 🕒 6-Month Contract 🏢 Fully Onsite

Our client is seeking two experienced Data Center IT Operations Administrators to support critical data center operations and infrastructure services. This role requires hands-on expertise in data center management, hardware support, incident management, installations, decommissioning, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications
5-10 years of data center operations and management experience
Extensive hands-on experience with IT hardware, databases, and Ethernet cable infrastructure
ServiceNow experience
Strong vendor management and process documentation experience
Working knowledge of:
-Network engineering
-Data center applications
-Client/server computing
-Production operations support
Strong understanding of the relationship between infrastructure, applications, and business services
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work independently
Experience supporting private cloud, public cloud, enterprise storage, telecommunications, and physical data center security environments

Mandatory Requirement
✅ Previous experience working in a Canadian bank or insurance company data center is required.

Additional Information
Fully onsite position
7.5 hours/day
Resources must be able to travel between the Barrie and Scarborough locations as required
On-call rotation: 1 week per month (paid hourly for actual callouts)
Occasional evening and weekend work based on operational requirements
