Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect Advisory (CAA) professional with a strong SAP Basis background to join a customer-facing advisory team supporting RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition engagements.

This is not a hands-on SAP Basis administration role. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping define SAP cloud strategies, architecture, migration approaches, and technical roadmaps while supporting presales and solution discussions.

Candidates with strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills who can confidently engage with customers and internal sales teams are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted technical advisor for RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition opportunities.
Provide architectural guidance for SAP landscape modernization, transformation, and cloud adoption initiatives.
Advise customers on SAP technical architecture, migration strategies, and best practices.
Support presales activities including customer workshops, solution presentations, and technical discussions.
Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and solution proposals with appropriate SAP technology recommendations.
Recommend high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity strategies for SAP environments.
Collaborate with solution architects, sales teams, delivery teams, and customer stakeholders to define optimal SAP cloud solutions.
Participate in architecture reviews and technical assessments.
Provide advisory support for SAP upgrades, migrations, and cloud transformation initiatives.
Present technical solutions to business and executive stakeholders.

Experience with at least one major cloud platform:

Excellent communication and presentation skills
Required Experience

7–12+ years of overall SAP technology experience
Extensive experience in SAP Basis Administration
Experience supporting SAP cloud transformation initiatives
Experience in SAP Consulting, Solution Advisory, Presales, or Technical Architecture roles
Experience working with enterprise SAP landscapes
Strong understanding of cloud-hosted SAP environments
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition
Exposure to SAP cloud transformation programs
SAP architecture or cloud-related certifications are a plus
Experience working with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
