I’m hiring for a Business Analyst contract role focused on capital markets, credit/rates derivatives, structured products, and trade lifecycle workflows.
📍 Location: Toronto
💰 Pay Rate: $88/hr Incop
⏳ Contract Role
This is a high-visibility BA opportunity supporting a major capital markets data integration initiative, working closely with front office traders/sales, GRM, control partners, and technology teams.
You’ll be responsible for requirements gathering, BRDs, use cases, process models, SDLC coordination, testing support, release execution, and bridging the gap between business and technology teams.

✅ Must-Have Skills:
• 8+ years as a Business Analyst with hands-on capital markets experience
• Strong capital markets product knowledge, preferably credit or structured products
• Experience working across all phases of the SDLC
• End-to-end trade workflow knowledge across Front, Middle, and Back Office systems
• Experience interacting with risk, finance, and regulatory stakeholders
• Strong SQL/database experience, preferably SQL Server, with ability to write and run queries independently

⭐ Nice to Have:
• Experience with derivative trading applications, trade capture, and pricing model integration
• Understanding of derivative trade lifecycle events such as amend, unwind, rate reset, fixing, and realized cashflows
• Knowledge of market/reference data used to price and manage credit and derivative instruments
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and similar documentation/tracking tools
• Exposure to CLOs or structured credit products is a strong asset
This role is ideal for someone who can operate as a lead/sole BA, manage senior stakeholders, and drive alignment across business and technology teams.
