Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Project Manager – Banking. This role offers the opportunity to oversee complex, large-scale projects that span multiple business functions, providing high visibility and exposure to executive leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing strategic initiatives typically initiated by senior executives, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.

Responsibilities:

Lead large-scale, complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders and matrix partners.
Define, plan, and deliver strategic projects including business, operational, and non-IT deliverables.
Manage all project lifecycle phases, working closely with business, corporate, and stakeholder groups to ensure project success.
Build and maintain strong relationships and communication channels with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
Ensure project scope, objectives, and outcomes align with the overarching business vision and provide measurable business benefits.
Facilitate regular project governance meetings, such as steering and decision-making forums, to review progress and resolve issues.
Rigorously oversee project scope, schedule, costs, and quality, making timely adjustments as necessary.
Develop and maintain project artifacts including charters, plans, resource and contingency plans, while adhering to enterprise standards.
Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating and recommending actions to keep projects on track.
Report project status, milestones, and recommendations periodically to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Promote best practices in project management across the organization to enhance execution consistency and transparency.
Desired Skill-Set:

University degree and/or 5-7 years of relevant project management experience
Proven track record of leading multiple projects from initiation to completion
Hands-on experience managing large, complex initiatives
Strong risk management skills
Ability to navigate and influence within a highly matrixed organization
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities
Business and technical acumen relevant to strategic project contexts
Clear and effective communication skills at all organizational levels
Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint, SDLC)
Nice to Have:
