Position Title: Foreign Currency Cash Team Analyst – Bilingual
Start Date: September 15, 2025
End Date: September 14, 2026 (12 months)
Work Location: 2201 Eglinton Ave East, Toronto – Onsite first 2 weeks for training, then hybrid (2–3 days per week in office)
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Interview Process: 1 round (MS Teams, 45 minutes with hiring manager and colleague)
Role Overview
The Foreign Currency Cash Team Analyst will support the branch network with foreign currency needs as part of the Cash Processing and Support group. This role involves booking rates, managing orders, resolving issues, and providing excellent customer service to branch staff. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and bring strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Book currency rates for customers and branch staff.
Buy and sell currencies for the branch network.
Manage branch foreign currency inventory.
Process and communicate cash orders to third-party providers.
Respond to system issues and order-related inquiries by email and phone.
Support the bank’s foreign currency cash project initiatives.
Must Have
1+ years in customer service
1+ years phone-based customer support (preferably in financial transactions)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Fluency in French (mandatory)
Nice to Have
Prior banking or financial services experience
Experience handling foreign currency orders (e.g., exchange bureau background)
Knowledge of general ledgers, cash orders, or accounting
Soft Skills
Excellent communication (verbal & written)
Strong multitasking skills (phone + data entry)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Empathy and professionalism under pressure
