Role: Business Analyst (Swift/Payment)

Location: Toronto, Canada(Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract

 

Mandatory Skills:

Responsible for the collection and documentation of Swift standards & release requirements, evaluation of business processes, conduct data analysis, capturing workflows, and perform testing to ensure successful Swift implementations

Comparison / gap analysis on the behaviors of moving SWIFT messages off legacy Enterprise wireroom system onto new Enterprise vendor solution

Communicate with Capital Markets technical and business stakeholders on of Swift industry changes, analysis outcomes and applicable requirements

Oversight and coordination of the End-to-End testing from SWIFT message origination to message acknowledge, testing inclusive of SIT, QA, and UAT

Continual collaboration with global End Users and Run-the-Bank (RTB) on troubleshooting production and test environments issues ensuring SWIFT flow between applications

Engagement with global stakeholders across Capital Markets QTS, T&O, and Wealth Management technical and their respective Lines of Businesses.

Proactively identify and perform gap analysis on the routing rules to detect risks/ deficiencies in the message flow to avoid any impacts to the business Review and comply with firm and industry standards for SWIFT message

Escalate risk and issues on a timely basis to senior management should the issue disrupt business daily processing.

10+ years of payments Business and /or Technical Analyst experience in Capital Markets and financial industry with specific expertise in Swift and Fiserv payment platforms.

Experience in SWIFT ISO/CBPR+ adoption, Swift MT-MX message creation, transformation, and enrichment

Experience with payment hub & routing systems: Fiserv EPP, GTX, Prowide, BESS, etc. Experience integrating JIRA and Confluence.
