⭐ Role: Intermediate Accountant (Part-Time)
📅 Duration: 6-month contract with potential to become permanent based on fit and performance
🕒 Schedule: 15–20 hours per week
📍 Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (in office for the first few weeks for training, then potential for a hybrid arrangement)
💲 Pay Rate: $30-38/hour based on experience

💫 Our client is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join their small and collaborative team on a part-time basis. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys a broad, hands-on accounting role where no two days look exactly the same.
This position will support core accounting functions including accounts payable, cash management, general ledger, reconciliations, and draft financial statement preparation, while also assisting with audit support, board materials, ad hoc analysis, and other operational gaps across the business. A significant portion of the role will involve supporting quarterly reviews and external audit processes, so strong attention to detail and persistence in document follow-up will be key.

Ideal candidates will have:
✔️ 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience
✔️ Strong hands-on experience with AP, cash management, GL, reconciliations, and financial statement support
✔️ Experience supporting audits and working through detailed documentation requests
✔️ A high sense of ownership, professionalism, and accountability
✔️ Strong verbal and written communication skills
✔️ CPA or ACCA in progress/completed is an asset
✔️ Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred
