Operations Officer / Banking Operations Analyst

We’re Hiring: Operations Officer / Banking Operations Analyst, Canada.
Work Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Hybrid: 4 days on site and one day is Work from Home.

Contract Role: 6 months Opportunity with high extension and conversation possibility.

Payrate: CAD 20-22/hr on T4 and 23-25/hr on INC ( Negotiable)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with 2– 4 years of banking or financial services experience to join a fast-paced operations team. If you have experience processing financial transactions, meeting SLAs, and thrive in a high-volume environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage high-volume daily transactions while consistently meeting SLA targets.
• Investigate account exceptions, including NSF items, closed/unfound accounts, deceased accounts, and court-ordered accounts.
• Review transaction details, perform account investigations, and determine whether payments should be processed or returned.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

Must-Have Skills:
~2–4 years of banking or financial services experience
~Experience processing financial transactions
~Proven ability to meet SLAs in a high-volume environment
~Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook (Microsoft 365)

Nice to Have:
~Experience with Microsoft Copilot or other AI productivity tools
