Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a DevOps Specialist (Android/iOS Toolchains). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-visibility projects involving AI, cloud engineering, and modern DevOps practices, with a flexible work environment and a collaborative team culture.

Pay rate range (CAD): $73.70/hr – $88.43/hr

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for iOS and Android platforms using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize build and deployment processes across mobile applications
Automate scripting workflows using Python and Bash to improve efficiency and reliability
Support DevOps practices including cloud deployment, automation, and infrastructure management within Azure
Participate in planning, code reviews, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth project progress
Contribute to implementing deployment patterns such as Blue/Green or Active/Active strategies
Stay current with emerging trends in AI-driven development and cloud engineering
Maintain documentation for DevOps processes and configurations
Interact primarily with internal teams, with some external collaboration when necessary
Desired Skill-Set

5+ years of DevOps experience in roles such as Developer, Site Reliability Engineer, or DevOps Specialist
Deep knowledge of GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent CI/CD tools
Strong understanding of Android and iOS build toolchains
Scripting experience in Python and Bash
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Attention to detail and self-motivation to meet deliverables
Nice to Have

Experience in banking, fintech, or similar financial services environments
Knowledge of Azure App Services and cloud development in Azure
Understanding of networking fundamentals
Experience with deployment patterns such as Blue/Green or Active/Active
Familiarity with AI-driven development approaches
Administrative experience with MACOS
