#Role: AWS Engineer
#Location: 2500 Gordon Baker Rd, Scarborough Hybrid ( 3-4 days onsite)1
#Duration: 12 Months

#Job Description/ Responsibilities
• Participate in and drive Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new cloud and GenAI services such as Amazon Bedrock, Agentcore, and related AWS capabilities.
• Conduct service evaluations and technical feasibility assessments.
• Analyze and troubleshoot platform and application issues using Amazon CloudWatch logs, metrics, and monitoring tools.
• Investigate service failures, identify root causes, and recommend remediation strategies to improve platform reliability and operational excellence.

#What are the top 3 skills required for this role?
• Strong expertise in AWS CDK (L1 and L2 Constructs).
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and NPM.
• Experience working with and extending enterprise CDK frameworks, including understanding and leveraging BMO-specific CDK wrappers built on top of native AWS CDK constructs.
• Ability to design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure and platform services using Infrastructure as Code principles.
