Site Reliability Engineer

🚨 We’re Hiring | Site Reliability Engineer (Canada)
📍 Location: 79 Wellington Street West
Toronto, ON (Hybrid), 4 days per week onsite
📅 Duration: 12-Month Contract ( Extension and Conversion possibility)

Years of Overall Experience: Senior 8 to 10 years as minimum.
Pay Range: $82-90/hr INC or $65-71/hr T4

We’re looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join a leading financial services client in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer with expertise in database platforms, cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps.

What You’ll Bring:
~Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, Always On Availability Groups, and Failover Clustering
~Experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs, Storage, Networking, Monitoring, Backup & Disaster Recovery)
~Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
~Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack, or similar tools
~CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins
~Strong knowledge of Windows Server and enterprise production support

Nice to Have:
~MongoDB & Cassandra administration
~Linux, Kubernetes, AWS, and Databricks experience
~Financial Services industry experience
