Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Information Security Specialist – CRISC/CISSP focused on assessing security risks, advising technology and business stakeholders, and supporting ongoing improvements to security methodologies and processes, including efficiencies and AI adoption efforts.

Pay rate range (CAD): $72.46/hr – $86.96/hr

Responsibilities

Provide guidance and support on potential security risks and emerging cyber trends
Partner with line of business and technology teams to proactively identify risks
Present practical, achievable recommendations aligned to security goals and business priorities
Support the Cyber Security AI Adoption Program with required risk and security guidance
Contribute to updates and changes to security methodologies and processes to improve effectiveness
Support threat-risk assessments and security decision-making activities
Assist with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing activities in support of security objectives
Desired Skill-Set

5+ years working in banking and financial services
Experience in Information Security Risk Management
Experience in Threat-Risk Assessments
Experience in Vulnerability & Penetration Testing
Experience supporting Application Security development initiatives
Exposure to Agile environments
Familiarity with Archer or other IRM platforms
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Ability to balance risk, business priorities, and practical implementation
Analytical, proactive problem-solving approach
Nice to Have

Familiarity with emerging technologies
Background in AI (highly valued)
Knowledge of cloud computing technologies
Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or CRISC
