Intermediate Security Specialist

Hiring: Intermediate Security Specialist (Contract) – Ontario Science Centre / Supply Ontario
📍 Toronto, ON (On-Site)
📅 4-Month Contract (June 17, 2026 – December 14, 2026) with potential extension

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Security Specialist to support the Ontario Science Centre’s digital transformation initiative, including cloud migration and the establishment of a comprehensive cybersecurity program.
✅ Requirements:
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience
• Cybersecurity strategy, program, and architecture development
• Control Testing & Assurance
• Auditing against NIST, CIS, and ISO frameworks
• Experience implementing NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Security solutions and technology implementation
• CISM and CRISC certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT
• Public Sector experience
