Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an IT Auditor | SOX & ICFR Controls Testing. This position offers a chance to work within a dynamic team on BAU projects, focusing on testing inventory controls, evaluating design and operational effectiveness, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external auditors. The role provides valuable exposure to internal controls and governance processes, with potential for career growth.

Pay rate range (CAD): $50.28/hr – $60.34/hr

Responsibilities

Execute testing of inventory controls, assessing design and operational effectiveness
Collaborate with business units to gather information and facilitate control testing
Prepare and send requests for information to relevant parties
Participate in internal status meetings and liaise with clients and business teams
Communicate regularly with external audit partners on progress
Complete 2 to 3 control testing deliverables each week, adhering to deadlines
Desired Skill-Set

Auditing experience, either internal or external
Testing experience with governance controls
ICFR/SOX testing expertise
Strong communication skills, with ability to manage stakeholder expectations
Excellent organization and workload prioritization skills
Nice to Have

Big 4 professional experience
Knowledge of finance or accounting regulations
Experience working in a hybrid or onsite environment
