Senior Financial Analyst – 12 Month Contract (High Potential to Convert Permanent)

Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)

Our client, a leading financial institution, is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a 12-month contract opportunity located in Downtown Toronto. This role has strong potential to convert into a permanent position. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional with a strong background in month-end reporting, consolidations, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead month-end close and reporting activities
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and working papers
• Perform multi-entity consolidations and financial reporting
• Complete bank reconciliations and support general ledger activities
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• Assist with audit support and ad hoc financial analysis
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across finance and operations

Qualifications:
• CPA/CA designated or currently pursuing CPA designation preferred
• 5+ years of month-end reporting and accounting experience
• Strong experience with consolidations and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
