Job Description
⭐ HIRING – CONTRACT – HYBRID TORONTO ⭐
Our top 5 banking client is looking for an Automation QA. The duration of the contract is from 07/01/2026 to 10/31/2026 with a possible extension or conversion to FTE in downtown Toronto and it’s 3 days/week onsite. Pay rate – $61/hr Inc. + HST.

Must have skills:
– 5 to 7 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or Software Engineering.
– 5+ years of recent hands‑on experience in API automation, preferably using: Java, RestAssured, TestNG / Cucumber
– Deep understanding of Microservices and distributed systems testing.
– 5+ years of Experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and modern SDLC practices.
– 5+ years of recent Exposure to contract testing and service integrations.
– 1+ years of experience applying AI‑assisted testing and quality analytics in a pragmatic, value‑driven way.
– 3+ years of experience with Locust Performance testing tool.
Nice to have:
– Experience with cloud platforms (GCP or Azure or AWS).
– Awareness of Web automation (Playwright) and Mobile automation (Appium with Python) for end‑to‑end quality oversight is highly preferred
– Previous experience with Top 5 banks or FI is nice to have.
