🚨 Hiring: JR Site Reliability Engineer (JR SRE) – Contract 🚨
I’m currently hiring for a JR Site Reliability Engineer (JR SRE) to support a high-availability customer-facing applications environment, focused on production observability, incident response, and service reliability.

📍 Location: Toronto
🏢 Hybrid: 3 days onsite
💰 Rate: $49/hr INC
📅 Contract: July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027
💼 Type: Contract role

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning service health, improving visibility across production systems, reducing alert noise, and supporting Sev1/Sev2 incident response.

🔎 What you’ll be working on:
• End-to-end monitoring using Dynatrace, Splunk, Power BI, and GCP Monitoring
• Building dashboards, SLOs/SLIs, alerting policies, uptime checks, and service maps
• Supporting major incident bridges and PIR/RCA activities
• Improving MTTD/MTTR, alert quality, reliability KPIs, and operational reporting
• Light automation/scripting for alert tuning, log parsing, triage, and service health checks

✅ Must-have experience:
• 2+ years as an SRE / Production Support / Observability Engineer
• Strong production operations/observability experience with Dynatrace and Splunk
• Hands-on recent experience with GCP Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Alerting Policies, Uptime Checks, SLOs/SLIs
• Strong SPL, dashboarding, alert design, and noise reduction experience
• Experience supporting Sev1/Sev2 incidents with clear communication and stakeholder coordination
• Strong understanding of golden signals, error budgets, capacity, saturation, and service reliability

⭐ Nice to have:
• Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Go scripting
• Power BI, DAX, dataflows
• Banking or financial services experience
