Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) – SD-WAN Consultant
Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (On-site; travel within the National Capital Region required)
Job Type: Contract
Compensation: $40.00 – $75.00 per hour
Security Clearance: Valid Canadian Federal Government Secret Clearance Required

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Enterprise Infrastructure professional to support a major enterprise networking initiative within the National Capital Region. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and expertise related to Cisco SD-WAN technologies, enterprise networking design, implementation, and operational knowledge transfer.

Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for:
Providing expertise on SD-WAN applications, implementation, and maintenance
Assisting in evaluating the benefits and drawbacks of SD-WAN within the client environment
Transferring SD-WAN knowledge to project team members and operational staff
Providing technical input to project documentation teams
Key Tasks
Review current and proposed WAN designs
Evaluate SD-WAN capabilities against client requirements and document findings
Guide implementation activities for the ITIE prototype network
Provide technical information and guidance to project documentation staff
Perform additional project-related tasks as required

Required Qualifications
Candidates must:
Hold a current and valid Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Enterprise Infrastructure certification
Possess a valid Canadian Federal Government Secret Security Clearance
Clearly demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience within the last 10 years as a lead engineer and/or staff mentor for technical projects
Clearly demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience within the last 10 years designing and validating enterprise networks using Cisco Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN)
Clearly demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience within the last 10 years designing and validating enterprise networks using Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA)
Required Technical Experience
Candidates must have hands-on experience with:
Cisco SD-WAN
Cisco DNA Centre
Cisco ISE
Cisco routers and switches

Additional Requirements
Must be able to provide their own transportation to client and vendor sites within the National Capital Region
Must be available to work on-site in Ottawa, Ontario
