Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced L2 Network Security Engineer to support and maintain enterprise-level network security operations in a global environment. The role is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day availability, performance, and reliability of the production network security environment, including Firewalls, Proxies, Intrusion Prevention/Detection systems, and DDoS protection services.

The ideal candidate will work closely with internal and external teams to provide Level 2 operational support while contributing to incident management, service restoration, proactive improvements, and ongoing operational excellence. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, ownership, and the ability to work effectively within a 24×7 global support model.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 operational support for enterprise network security environments.
Perform incident management, troubleshooting, and patch management for firewalls and proxy platforms.
Support and maintain security technologies including zScaler, Fortinet, Cisco, and Checkpoint solutions.
Participate in and occasionally lead Major Incident Management calls.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production incidents and outages.
Drive service restoration activities and proactive service improvements.
Implement repeatable Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) for security and proxy services.
Support lifecycle management projects and maintain operational documentation.
Serve as a technical point of contact for incidents and changes.
Utilize monitoring tools to ensure production systems maintain high availability and performance.
Collaborate effectively with internal customers and global support teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT Network Operations.
Hands-on experience with Firewall and Proxy platforms, including:
zScaler
Fortinet
Cisco
Checkpoint
Strong troubleshooting experience in network security environments and infrastructure tools.
Experience working with global teams in multinational environments.
Hands-on experience supporting 24×7 operational environments.
Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to manage high-pressure situations professionally.
Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
Demonstrated ownership and accountability for operational support activities.
