Our client, a premier federally chartered financial institution, is looking for a Compliance Analyst II / Compliance Manager to join their team for a 1.5-year maternity leave coverage position.

🗓️ Schedule: Hybrid (In-office Tue, Wed, Thu | Remote Mon, Fri)

What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading the design, execution, and reporting of the bank’s second line of defense monitoring and testing (M&T) program.
Evaluating key controls, identifying regulatory gaps, and delivering clear, plain-language recommendations to business partners.
Logging testing results into the Regulatory Compliance Management Database (RCMD).
Assisting with quarterly and annual compliance reporting for the Board of Directors and specialized committees.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 4+ to 5+ years of compliance, internal audit, or controls testing experience specifically within banking or financial services.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Canadian banking legislation (e.g., Bank Act, PCMLTFA, PIPEDA, Trust and Loans Company Act).
Communication: Exceptional ability to simplify complex regulatory data into actionable, easy-to-understand documentation.
Assets (Nice-to-Have): Professional designations (CPA, CIA, CAMS), experience with Archer GRC software, or a legal background.
