About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst III with strong technical expertise in Oracle technologies to support a large-scale ERP transformation initiative. This role will contribute to the integration of Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion SaaS) with legacy enterprise applications in a complex public sector environment.
The ideal candidate combines strong Business Systems Analysis capabilities with hands-on Oracle development experience and has a proven background supporting large enterprise transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business and technical requirements and identify information flows, procedures, decision logic, and reporting needs
• Develop functional and technical specifications for complex integrations and application enhancements
• Design and document architectural diagrams, data models, and database schemas
• Analyze and understand complex database structures and interdependencies
• Build, test, and support integrations between Oracle Fusion and legacy applications
• Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL components including packages, procedures, triggers, and functions
• Design and implement XML-based data integrations
• Participate in solution design, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation activities
• Create and maintain technical documentation aligned with organizational standards
• Collaborate with developers, DBAs, analysts, project teams, and business stakeholders
• Participate in agile ceremonies, project meetings, and progress reporting
Required Qualifications
• 15+ years of overall IT experience
• 10+ years of experience as a Programmer Analyst
• 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
• Minimum 3+ years supporting ERP implementation projects involving complex legacy application integrations within Canadian public sector environments
• Strong Oracle development experience including:
Oracle PL/SQL
Database packages, procedures, triggers, and functions
Oracle Forms and Reports
Database schema analysis
Complex query development
• Experience writing and consuming functional and technical specifications
• Experience designing and testing enterprise application integrations
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations
• Experience with data modeling and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs)
• Experience developing XML-based integrations
• Experience with .NET technologies including:
VB.NET
