Business Analyst

We have a 6-month contract opportunity for a Business Analyst- SASE/Palo Alto Prisma. This is hybrid work with 3 days WFH and 2 days onsite at the office in Creekside Drive, Vancouver, BC.

The Business Analyst will support a strategic SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) initiative leveraging Palo Alto Prisma Access. The BA will play a key role in the planning and discovery phase, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to define user access requirements, document use cases, and help shape the overall SASE strategy.

This role requires a strong understanding of network security concepts, SASE frameworks, and ideally Palo Alto Prisma Access, combined with experience in financial services environments.

Key Deliverables
Documented SASE use cases and user access models
Business and functional requirements documentation
Current vs future state analysis
Stakeholder workshop outputs and summaries
Inputs to SASE architecture and implementation roadmap

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise IT or network/security projects
Proven experience working on network transformation, security, or cloud connectivity initiatives
Strong understanding of SASE concepts (ZTNA, CASB, SWG, SD-WAN, etc.)
Experience gathering and documenting technical and business requirements
Ability to work with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on or project experience with Palo Alto Prisma Access (highly preferred)
Background in financial services / banking / credit unions / regulated environments
Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) and zero trust frameworks
Experience supporting network security assessments or architecture planning
Exposure to compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, PCI, OSFI, etc.)
