Job Title: Cloud SRE Engineer

Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid)

Type: Contract

 

Job Description –

1) The SRE will be responsible for the reliability, availability, and performance of Azure/AWS PaaS and IaaS workloads. They bridge the gap between development and operations, focusing on building automated systems that prevent failures, managing incident responses, and optimizing cloud costs.

2)HA & Storage: Hands-on experience with Veritas VCS / Pacemaker clusters and enterprise storage configurations.

3)Cloud Engineering: Proficiency in AWS and Azure infrastructure, AWS CDK, cloud services, and deployment automation.

4)Security & Hardening: Implement OS hardening standards, vulnerability remediation, and patch management.

5)Automation & Scripting: Strong automation capabilities using Ansible and Terraform (IaC/CaC), with scripting expertise in Python, TypeScript, Shell, and Bash.
