Job Description

We are hiring at Xanadu for our photonics data analysis team. We are looking for software-minded engineers with enough domain knowledge to understand the physical problems we are trying to tackle. Of particular interest this round are those with experience in data visualization or webdev, but smart generalists will do well. This is a hybrid-remote job in Toronto. The scope of work our team works on includes: – Applying advanced mathematical, physical, and statistical skills to develop new fitting algorithms and maintain existing ones. – Developing and maintaining a data visualization platform that engineers can use to make critical engineering decisions. – Assigning credible intervals to derived metrics of the analysis and ascertain what conclusions are able to be drawn from given data. – Forecasting uncertainties of proposed experimental designs to measure photonic device performance at bleeding edge precision. – Debugging results of analysis at each step in the process – determining if unexpected results are due to software failure, experimental failure or physical properties of the device. If the above sounds interesting to you feel free to ping me. Full details including pay scale and required qualifications included in application link below.
