🚀 Hiring: Business Systems Analyst (Payments Domain)
📍 Location: Toronto (4 Days/Week Onsite – Non-Negotiable)
📅 Duration: 6–12 Months

We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst with strong technical systems analysis capabilities and deep expertise in Payments, Interac eTransfer Processing, Account Transfers, and Treasury Cash Management Solutions.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Translate complex business requirements into functional & technical specifications
• Analyze end-to-end payment flows including initiation, settlement, reconciliation & exception handling
• Prepare BRDs, FSDs, user stories, process flows, sequence diagrams & data mappings
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers & Operations teams
• Support API integrations, payment rails & downstream banking systems
• Work within Agile/Scrum delivery teams
• Support QA/UAT activities, defect triage & release planning
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit & risk requirements
🔹 Required Skills:
✔ 7+ years of experience as a BSA in Financial Services or Technology environments
✔ Strong expertise in Interac eTransfer, Domestic Payments & Cash Management Solutions
✔ Deep understanding of Canadian Payments Ecosystem & settlement lifecycle
✔ Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, SQL & System Integration patterns
✔ Experience with event-driven or message-based architectures
✔ Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience
✔ Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
🔹 Preferred Qualifications:
⭐ Experience with RBC Edge digital banking platforms or cash management systems
⭐ Knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standards
⭐ Exposure to real-time or near real-time payments
⭐ CBAP or Agile Certification is an asset
