Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Middle Office Operations Analyst specializing in Collateral, OTC, and Repos. This position offers an opportunity to support critical workflows within a dynamic Capital Markets environment, emphasizing automation, process improvement, and risk management.

Pay rate range (CAD): $47.10/hr – $56.52/hr

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize collateral processes, including safekeeping, digital tracking, margin calls, exposure management, and lifecycle workflows
Support full lifecycle processing of OTC derivatives and repo transactions, ensuring accurate portfolio reconciliation and breaks resolution
Drive operational efficiency through workflow automation, data analytics, and exploring AI tools where applicable
Act as a trusted liaison across trading desks, legal, vendors, and internal operations, facilitating seamless communication and process execution
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal control policies, maintaining operational integrity and risk-aware decision-making
Support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment
Desired Skill-Set

Strong knowledge of OTC derivatives lifecycle and structured products
Hands-on experience with collateral management, margining, repo markets, and portfolio reconciliation
Proficiency with collateral and margin systems such as Acadia Margin Manager and IMEM
Excellent communication abilities across multi-disciplinary teams and vendors
Capable of managing manual and semi-automated workflows
Supportive of team members with informal leadership skills
Nice to Have

CFA or FRM knowledge (not mandatory)
Experience with repo markets and secured lending structures
Familiarity with automation tools in operational settings
Exposure to capital markets middle office transformation initiatives
